Sofia skipped down to the lake's edge, quietly singing to herself a song by Seal. "But when it snows. My eyes, become large and..." She was dressed in dark blue jean and a lime gren muscleback top, though she was starting to regret wearing the jeans, as it was hotter than she'd anticipated. She was wearing a small shoulder bag and settled down by the lake's edge, her bare feet dipping into the cool refreshing water. "The light that you shine can be seen..." She stopped her quiet song as she pulled out a shiny green apple. She bit into it, letting the cool sour juices run down her throat.

Sadie was waiting for Biana to meet her. But she was late as usual. She walked around school not really looking for anything but mostly wondering about how awesome this school year was going to be. She stopped a little when she reached the lake as she thought back to the first year. When she fell inside of it but of course she pulled people down with her. She couldn’t remember the stares people gave her or the trouble she got in for endangering other students but instead the laughter and fun they had and the mermaids she meet that year who sooner she got to be on their good side. But the giant squid was something else he still didn’t like Sadie so she tried not to bother him as much. She shook her head a bit snapping back in reality by a girls soft voice singing . She looked over at the girl almost observing her. Well She seems friendly but she wasn't a Hufflepuff or a 5th year she knew that much. So she decided to introduce herself.
Sadie walked up to her with bounce and happiness in her step and sat down besides her. “Hey there” She said to Sofia with the warmest smile you would ever see. She had her hands placed un the bottom of her legs since the skirt she was wearing wasn’t mixing with sitting on the grass too well.

Sofia had finished the apple by the time Sadie arrived, right down to the core, leaving it barely recognizable. She threw it as hard as she could into the lake, It'll decompose. She sat back, brushing a pice of hair that had escaped her ponytail back behind her ear. Almond shaped grey orbs scoped the lake, until she heard the soft crush of grass. She turned, not startled by the voice as she had heard the older girl coming.
"Hello." Sofia slightly recognised her, they'd walked past each othe rin hallways of course. If memory served she was a fifth year Hufflepuff, though Sofia didn't know the name. "I'm Sofia Numair, from Gryffindor." She replied, as well as returning a smile. Hufflepuffs were almost always bubbly friendly people, and although Sofia could be sjy around people to start wiht, there as no reason to be out here.

Sadie watched her throw the apple core in the lake. She just hoped that it didn’t hit the Giant Squid on the head. Hmm great something to make him more mad than he already is…who am I kidding he is always in a grouchy mood I don’t know why they just don’t lock him up in an underwater cage or something she thought as her mind kept on rambling on with new ideas and thoughts. She had always been a creative person with the most random things that come to mind.
She turned back to Sofia “Nice to meet you….Sadie Hawthorne and I’m a Hufflepuff” She said with a smile. She knew a few people in Gryffindor they were nice well better than the people in Slythern those she couldn’t stand for the life of her.

Sofia nodded, trying to make sure she'd remember the name if she ever saw her again. "Nice to meet you too..." Sofia sighed and shuffled around, trying to find a more comfortable position. "What year are you? I'm 4th." Sofia could tell by looking at Sadie that she would be taller than her standing up. Last time she checked she had been about 5'7, almost 5'8. The piece of hair she had tucked behind her came out from a gust of wind, she quickly retied her dead straight amber hair.

Sadie looked at her shuffle around and smiled. She could tell she wasn’t going to be one of those total serious people. She coud be serious when she wanted to and didn't mind them but she liked firends who could have a little fun and not totally care about what the consequesnces would be, but at the same time they aren't looking for trouble to make their entire house hate them.
“5th year” Sadie said as she answered her question. Sadie could tell that when they stood up Sofia surley would be taller than her but couldn’t be bothered if younger kinds were taller than her they usually were and she had come to be ok with it. Plus being short was an advantage in her mind. She felt the wind and saw her skirt blew up a little from the sudden gust of wind. Hmm maybe I should have opted for another wardrobe choice she thought seeing the weather was not changing a bit and she dressed for a much warmer day. Her hair blew but that didn’t bother her it was always styled in a messy/neat downdo with some volume in it so the wind only helped her achieve the look she was going for more. "So are you excited for this year....or are you expecting a totally dull year?"She asked not like they could be a dull year at Hogwarts.

Sofia thought about what she expected the year to be like. "Well, I hope we don't have anything to crazy this year. But something fun all the same."

Sadie nodded as she listened to her and thought about her own answer. She wasn’t sure crazy years made the year fun. But she knew a few people who got hurt from the craziness like Cedric. Why did he have to die he was so cute too…Hmm I wonder where Cho is this year, She thought to herself again rambling on in thought. Wow I have really got to stop that she thought and turned back to Sofia seeing she hadn’t done anything but nod to her answer and it had been a few minutes.
“Yea is It ever boring here?” She asked with a slight giggle not really expecting an answer to it “Yea fun makes it worth while coming here…And there is always something to do here” She said..

Biana was for some reason really tired. She walked down to find Sadie and tripped over her long skirt. "I really do hate these things" she said to herself mainly. She walked over to Sadie and someone she didn't recognise. "Hey peoplz" she said with a highly chipper voice.

Sadie was still lost in thought mainly about Cedric. One thing about Sadie she was boy-crazy and always has been. She was daydreaming when she heard laughter from students around her. She looked up wanting to know what she missed in the minutes she was out of it for. And saw Biana trip as a giggle came out of her. She was always a little clumsy. “Hey” She said in-between giggles as she approached. She noticed she never introduced them and thought she might want to do that. “Oh Biana this is Sofia” She said “And Sofia this is Biana” She said with a smile introducing her long time friend to a new acquaintance.

Sofia turned as the new girl, another 5th year probably appeared. "Hello." She smiled at the blonde haired girl, holding in a quiet giggle as she tripped over her skirt. "I'm in Gryffindor." She spoke again. Thinking if she had ever seen her before. Well, of course she had, she'd seen everyone in Hogwarts but. Nope, she hadn't met her before. "Please to meet you."

Biana laughed a little at herself. "HUfflepuff, good to meet you to" she said straightening out her skirt a little. "So guys whats up?" she asked looking out at the lake, it was really beautiful this time of year and she loved it.

Sadie looked at them as they interacted a bit. She turned to Bianca and shrugged "Nothing much..I am just daydreaming about some things..as usual"She said with a slight chuckle knowing that Bianca knew exactly what she was day dreaming about. "And i am just talking to a new..umm friend"She said with a slight smile "What is Bina up to?"She asked Bianca using her nick-name she gave her a long time ago. Since their 1st year at Hogwarts and when they were assigned partners for some assignment they just immediately clicked to be friends. They were a lot alike also and that necessarily wasn't a good thing.
